On Tuesday, December 30, 2025, “A vital Cancer Awareness Programme” was organized at Indhira College of Education, Pandur. The session was led by Mrs. C. Shanthi, Senior Consultant at Privaram Cancer and Research Institute, Valasaravakkam.

Addressing an audience of 300 students, Mrs. Shanthi emphasized the critical importance of early detection and healthy lifestyle choices in preventing cancer. To deepen the impact, two educational videos were screened, providing visual insights into cancer progression and the benefits of timely screening. The interactive session empowered future educators with accurate knowledge to dispel myths and advocate for community health.
